Christopher D. Hession regularly acts as outside corporate counsel to his business clients and their constituents, providing business-oriented legal counsel and advice relating to a wide range of commercial and strategic agreements, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, stakeholder rights, director and officer duties, and many other commercial matters. He represents a diverse corporate client base ranging from emerging enterprises to highly established organizations in industries ranging from professional services to start up technology companies. Chris also represents individual entrepreneurs, owners, directors and executives of business organizations in their personal business ventures and interests. When litigation becomes advisable or necessary, Chris utilizes a deep bench of litigation attorney referrals to provide an efficient and effective representation of his clients.
Chris is licensed to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the Colorado Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Colorado and the United States Supreme Court. Chris is a long-time active member of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, serving as director and past President of the national board of directors of the national alumni association, and the DePaul University College of law, serving as director and past President of its Alumni Advisory Board.
